CENTURY 21 ELITE celebrates the extraordinary with The Relentless Campaign. In a community of exciting projects, progressive movements, and exponential growth, relentless leaders and community members are found at its core. Now more than ever, we want to recognize these leaders. The Relentless Campaign aims to celebrate those making waves in the Wabash Valley Community by honoring individuals who truly give the word "relentless" its meaning. This month, we are excited to announce our next honoree of The 2022 Relentless Campaign, an individual who truly gives 121%.
Kay Clark Brewer, of Shelburn, Indiana. Kay is someone who is on a mission to enjoy life and help those in need. Kay leads everyday with her relentless work and dedication. Kay was graciously nominated for The Relentless Campaign for her truly dedicated service not only as the Founder of the Brown Baggers School Food Program, a volunteer, but also as someone who works hard to bring out the greater good in everyone.
Kay’s nominator wrote, “Kay is so much more than a volunteer. She is a friend to all and never encounters a stranger. Kay works at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility in the Commissary Department and also as Office Manager for Wright Salvage. She started spearheading the Brown Baggers School Food Program in August-September of 2010 and has been the Project Coordinator ever since. She has volunteered her time at the prison teaching a Fatherhood Class. She also helps with the Shelburn Old Fashion Days. Along with the Food Program, she has volunteered in the past with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as a box truck driver delivering food from the northside of Indianapolis to northern Indiana and down to Lousivlle. She did this for a few years, helping where she could. Kay loves spending time with her husband Israel enjoying outdoors activities like fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, you name it! On game days you can find Kay rooting for the Chicago Cubs and the Dallas Cowboys during football season. She cares about each and every person that she comes in contact with, making sure needs are met the best way she can. She brings fun and love to the community everyday.
Kay is our first nominee from the Sullivan area. We are excited to recognize her efforts and spread the word of the Relentless Campaign in the community. Kay is a leading example of what is needed in community togetherness.
We are honored to recognize an extraordinary dedicated individual like Kay. In the uncertain times we have recently been faced with, it is great to see focus on joy and kindness. CENTURY 21 Elite will continue to recognize relentless individuals like Kay Clark Brewer in 2022.
